Overview

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of antiques and vintage items, Kendyl's maintains a limited return policy. We carefully document the condition of each piece and encourage buyers to review all photographs and descriptions thoroughly before purchase.

Eligible Returns

Returns are accepted only under the following circumstances:

  1. Damage During Transit: Item arrives broken or damaged despite our careful packaging.
  2. Significant Misrepresentation: Item differs substantially from its description (e.g., an item described as 19th century that is demonstrably a modern reproduction).

Return Process

  1. Notification: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery for damaged items or within 7 days for misrepresented items.
  2. Documentation: Provide clear photographs showing the damage or misrepresentation.
  3. Approval: Wait for return authorization before shipping any item back.
  4. Shipping: Once approved, carefully repackage the item in its original packaging if possible.
  5. Refund: Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, a refund will be processed for the purchase price.

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • For damaged items or significant misrepresentation: Kendyl's will cover return shipping costs.
  • For buyer's remorse or any non-eligible reason: Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return:

  • Items where condition issues were clearly disclosed in the listing
  • Minor variations in color, patina, or finish (as these can appear differently under various lighting conditions)
  • Normal signs of age and wear consistent with antique or vintage items
  • Items that have been altered, repaired, or modified after receipt

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued through the original payment method used for purchase.

Exchanges

Due to our inventory of unique items, direct exchanges are not available. If you wish to return an eligible item and purchase another, these will be processed as separate transactions.
